Event Segments
ExtruDe 1.0 featured three major competitive segments, each designed to evaluate different aspects of CAD expertise and engineering creativity.
Segment 1: Design Dimension
A precision-based CAD modeling challenge, Design Dimension tested how well participants could create accurate 3D models and engineering drawings from the problem statements.
Key Highlights:
Individual or two-member teams
Hands-on CAD modeling under time pressure
Evaluated on accuracy, design approach, and technical depth
Prize Pool: 35,000 BDT

- Hall filled with participants
This segment kickstarted the competitive spirit and set the stage for the rest of the event.
Segment 2: Design Decode
While Segment 1 concluded, preparations began for Design Decode, the "thinking-heavy" segment of the event. What Made this Segment Unique: This challenge required teams to analyze real-world industrial problems and propose logical CAD-based redesigns.
Highlights:
Two to three members per team
Industrial problem-solving using design analysis
Emphasis on creativity + feasibility
Prize Pool: 50,000 BDT

This segment showcased how engineering design can solve real industrial challenges.
Segment 3: Poster Presentation
In This segment of the “Extrude 1.0” competition Participants will present their ideas and design research through a technical poster that highlights innovation, design thinking, and impact.
